The reserved decision of the Nikah case was announced in the iddat of founder PTI and Bushra Bibi. Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah has sentenced founder PTI and Bushra Bibi up to seven years imprisonment while giving a brief judgment in the marriage case in Iddat.

The court has also imposed a fine of five lakh rupees each on founder the PTI and Bushra Bibi. The PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were present in the court room on the occasion of the verdict.

Islamabad’s Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah yesterday had reserved the verdict in the Nikah case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi during Iddat.

Summary of yesterday’s hearing

Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah heard the Nikah case in Iddat in Adiala Jail and the former premier Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were presented while the complainant’s lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi and Public Prosecutor Samiullah Jasra were also present in the court.

Founder PTI’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja and Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Usman Riaz Gul completed the cross-examination of the four witnesses Khawar Manika, Aoon Chaudhry, Mufti Saeed and employee Latif.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Usman Gul questioned Mufti Saeed and asked if it is true that he was arrested by the armed forces in 1995 in a case of rebellion. To which Mufti Saeed said that I was arrested because of my friends, I was a member of the team that conducted Operation Khalifa, I was arrested along with General Zaheer-ul-Islam Abbasi and Brigadier Mustansar Billa.

Witness Mohammad Latif said that I had told Khawar Manika about the questionable meetings between Bushra Bibi and the founder of PTI. He said he did not give false testimony and did not make false allegations. According to him he I did not give the testimony under any pressure.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja cross-examined Khawar Manika, during which Salman Akram Raja produced various TV interviews of Khawar Manika as evidence in the court.

Khawar Manika said that it is true that I called my ex-wife Bushra Bibi as a chastity, these videos are from the time when Bushra Bibi was married to me and she was a good woman.
